                                    16No. 293 | May 2025Introduction Hajj is one of the commands of God Almighty and a tradition left from the time of Prophet Abraham (AS), which was then inherited and perfected by Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Hajj is a covenant and agreement between humans and the Almighty God, and serves as a camp for the successors of pure Abrahamic teachings. Hajj is the center of awareness, freedom, and self-purification for the great Islamic Ummah, both in their individual and social life.Hajj is an obligatory act of worship with great social and even political dimensions, and it can change the fate of individuals and Muslims, expel the demons of lust from within, and free the Muslim Ummah from the great demons (enemies of Muslims) of different forms.As mentioned, Hajj is of two - personal and social - aspects. As regards its individual aspect, the aim of Hajj is to purify the soul, achieve clarity and insight, cleanse spiritual stains, achieve peace, and draw closer to God Almighty to find the direct path to perfection and being at the service of God Almighty.
