It is a transformation from a selfish demeanor to that of having love for others, attesting to the unity of creation as stated in Chapter 49, verse 13, saying, %u201cO humanity! Indeed, We created you from a male and a female and made you into peoples and tribes so that you may get to know one another. Surely the most noble of you in the sight of Allah is the most righteous among you. Allah is truly All-Knowing, All-Aware.%u201d Chapter 2, verse 213 likewise points out that, %u201cMankind was one community and Allah sent (unto them) prophets as bearers of good tidings and as warners, and revealed to them the Scriptures%u2026%u201d Prophet Muhammad, in reinforcing the importance of community in the eyes of Allah, said: %u201cWhosoever gets up without being concerned with the affairs of Muslims is not one of them.%u201dThe Hajj experience alters man%u2019s unhealthy condition. Once the decision to perform Hajj is made and the necessary steps are taken, man is on the road to the actualization of Hajj. Before going to Hajj, the man resides in his home, calm and reposed. Upon entering the state of mind for For the many, life has become an idle cyclical action, a movement with no goal! It has become a meaningless pendulum action that starts with the day only to end at night, and night starts only to disap-pear at dawn. Many a man is left preoccupied filling in the time of these two alter-nating phenomena, hoping to find meaning in life, only to end up finding a nagging emptiness inside.
