Today, one cannot speak of faith in God and resurrection and remain silent about the killing of innocent children and women in Gaza, just as one cannot write about individual and social morality and remain indifferent toward the foolish sanctions against the Yemeni people. This important issue requires action in three interconnected areas: first, explaining and elaborating the reason behind %u2018disavowal%u2019 in an scholarly manner is in the academic and seminary communities of the Islamic world; second, creating awareness in the young generation in order to safeguard them against colonial propaganda; and third, fostering a real connection with nonMuslim justice-seeking societies and elites, so that %u2018disavowal of oppression%u2019 becomes the common language of religions and freedom-seeking nations. The experience of anti-apartheid associations in recent decades proves that whenever the demand for justice crosses religious and ethnic boundaries, its pervasive power gets multiplied. However, it is to be noted that when it comes to implementation, %u2018disavowal of modern ignorance%u2019 will not be possible without the formation of a network among cultural, academic, media, and non-governmental organizations in Islamic countries and among the free people of the world.On the other hand, it should not be forgotten that the hard core of this civilization-building discourse is the %u2018axis of resistance%u2019; a diverse front of governments and nations that, at heavy material and human costs, have prevented the full realization of the American and Zionist project for a new Middle East. Within the context of %u2018disavowal%u2019, appreciating this steadfast resistance and explaining its achievements is not a propaganda act, but fulfilling a historical responsibility. From Gaza to Sanaa, from Beirut to Najaf, etc., each stronghold of resistance has, to the best of its ability, deepened the cracks in the structure of global oppression and opened the horizon of hope for the free people of the world.I would like to conclude by reminding that the %u2018disavowal%u2019 approved by the Holy Qur%u2019an is not merely a slogan, but rather, it is achieved when it is accompanied by its positive aspect, namely, building a world based on justice and virtue. A %u2018disavowal%u2019 that is devoid of the construction of an alternative is, at best, reduced to a temporary protest. The goal of this action is to build a new civilization based on human dignity. Hajj is the university for practicing this transformation, and it is expected that after the end of the rituals, the lives of Muslims around the world will move towards its realization.
